Sue Gregory MSc.

Executive, Professional Development and Business Coach

Row Out Limited

“Game changer for my career and life”; “felt empowered and motivated”; “it has been transformative”; it is this type of feedback that encompasses why I am so passionate about coaching, and am continually amazed at the difference it can make to people’s professional and personal lives – and the knock-on benefit to the teams in which they work.

My coaching experience is underpinned by over 20 years as founding director of a highly ambitious and successful Employee Benefit Consultancy. From start up, to the sale to a global financial services firm, we had a vision to become the ‘go to’ Employee Benefits agency for major UK and US law firms based in the UK. When we sold the business that vision had become a reality.

The challenges we faced growing the business and developing our team, coupled with my training and experience in coaching senior management, provide a rare and valuable combination for those seeking to support and develop their own or their employees’ leadership and management skills.

About Sue Gregory

I am passionate about coaching people.

My clients range from ambitious young high-flyers, to seasoned leaders and entrepreneurs, managers, and team members – primarily within the professional services sectors.

My approach is empathic, non-judgemental and solution focussed. I value each client for who they are. I work with them to achieve their desired outcomes, to raise their self-awareness and help them become the leader, team player and person they want to be and to provide them with the tools they need to better navigate the challenges often presented in work, life and in relationships. Ultimately enabling them to achieve their goals – both professionally and personally.

OUTSIDE OF COACHING

I started my career in the travel industry and have been lucky enough to travel extensively – in Africa, South America, Australia and Asia. It has left me with a lifelong interest and curiosity in other cultures and different ways of looking at life and the world.

In my spare time, I am a keen walker (particularly in the Lakeland Fells), and enjoy Pilates, dance, theatre, film, and still love to travel. I established two walking groups for women, both still up and running, one for nearly twenty years. I have enjoyed fundraising through completing the Three Peaks (both UK and Yorkshire), New York Marathon and a couple of Macmillan Mighty Hikes.

My husband and I have a passion for renovating old, unloved houses and turning them into much loved homes. My favourite moments are spent with our family and friends.

BACKGROUND

The name Row Out came from an old tapestry my Mum bought in a junk shop years ago. It read:

Don’t wait for your ship to come in – Row out and meet it.

When I started coaching, my youngest daughter Lotti suggested it would be a good name for the business. Coaching can indeed help you row out and create the life you want.

And so Row Out was born!
